Hybrid Audio Technologies "Clarus." They are going to re-launch an all new Website any day now so the link may change.

looks pretty legit, where is ordering information and pricing, i found a select few one or two on ebay but not the clarus
They are very legitimate. The owner of the company is a SQ competitor and recorded the highest SQ score in IASCA history I believe.

The Clarus can be purchased from http://store.12velectronics.com/prod...r-System-.html

The Clarus have great tweeters, excellent mid-bass and crossovers and sound superb. I have mine hooked up to an Arc Audio KS300.2 which outputs 180 watts RMS at 4 Ohms. If mounting the Clarus into the factory tweeter location, you will want to angle the tweeter a bit towards the dash or mount near the woofer.

In regard to Vibration reducers, I recommend Second Skin Audio's Damplifier Pro or Alpha Damp as both are superior to Dynamat. I recommend finishing with a noise reducer such as an adhesive backed closed cell polyethylene foam.

I mounted my amps and crossovers on an amp rack in the spare tire area. I like the idea that they are concealed when opening my trunk.

The amp in the rear I adjust by removing 1 panel from behind the passenger seat.

Here is a far from stellar photograph. I will shoot better pics another day.

^Get the Focal K2P "Power" versions. There are two models, don't get the cheaper one as it does not give as much output.

Anyone who plans to spend $1000+ on speakers and won't splurge on Dynamat is a total idiot as you are just throwing away sound quality. A well done door laid with Dynamat will improve sound by 3dB which is essentially doubling the amp power.

had no idea, thats good to know, so you mean there is a K2P and a K2P Power version? or what should i look for to differentiate between the two

Sorry, my bad I had two different models confused:

Please help me out here guys!

My husband frequents this site and I thought I would come here for some help. I want to buy some new speakers for his 2003 S2000 for our anniversary but I need help figuring out what to get. I don't know what size/type of speakers and also would like to know if I don't buy all new speakers which would you recommend as being the most important to replace. I'm just going to wrap them up in the box in case they aren't what he might like so I'm not worried about install.

I don't know what you may need to know.... he has an after market Alpine head unit and I believe that currently all of the speakers are stock. They don't seem to me to be anything very good. Thanks and I appreciate any help that you can give me.

I also apologize if I didn't post this in the right place (I tried, really).

Just reverted back to a very old (released in 2007) KDC-X991 and got the amber illumination matched perfectly! I was planning to relocate the tweeters, but the SRS elevates the sound stage enough to keep me happy.

before

after

each SMD LED is 0.063 × 0.031 inch

halfway there

almost done...

whoo!

Yep, got the position and DTA set up but I need an RTA to correct some peakiness in the higher frequencies. I can hear the peaks when listening to music, but just don't have the ears for correcting them properly.
