dierk-> what are you planning on doing for your sub? what kind of enclosure (Wlaurent i suppose) and what kind of driver? I think you have a very clean install, and i'd like to see the whole set-up when you are done.
Plan A is to build a ported fiberglass box in the shape of the spare tire cavity for a Digital Designs DD1008.
Plan B is to build a sealed fiberglass box in the spare tire cavity and install the DD1008 or something like the Diamond CM308 or Image Dynamics ID8.
Plan C (if my attempt at fiberglassing turns into a fiasco) is to use WLaurent's box. I suppose then I would uninstall PAS2KNUT's excellent cover. I just hope it doesn't come to that.
Thanks again for your interest.

Well, I've switched up my stereo install a little since I received a 12" Eclispe Aluminum sub for Christmas.
I haven't seen anyone post a picture of a double layer amp rack for the spare tire well so I thought I would post my install to give some others an idea on fitment. Just incase people are afraid of overheating problems with the limited space between the amps, you can run a couple fans to keep the amps cool.
Here are a couple pictures of my install...
Custom amp rack built by some stereo shop with my additional second layer
Pre-installed amps, cap, distribution blocks, and wiring
Amp rack installed in the spare tire well

think that telling people what kind of speakers they'd like is like telling them which pizza toppings are good.

Thanks again to Jim (PAS2KNUT) for a fine job of finding me great equipment and hooking this sucker up. Sounds incredible.

I'm interested in your measurements, if that's ok?
