Right, I was thinking just that. And if you lift the top panel of the box a few inches to the rear, angling the opening towards the rear of the seat, you'd gain a fair amout more. Additionally, you can mount the sub facing into the box and eliminate the displacement issue. I just need to find someone familiar enough with fiberglassing to swing by one weekend and help me out! Yuba City, CA near Sac.

But then your trunk will not be functional... or not to the point where you can get two golf bags in there.

You'll regret it if your enclosure is not removable... trust me. This is my 3rd enclosure. I made this setup removable for the track and low-profile enough to get a huge travel bag(or two walking golf bags).

That is an intension to be able to remove it. Does the fiberglass adhere to the tool pan, or does it pull of when it dries?

Haulin'S: This is off topic, but I grew up in the Yuba area (Beale AFB, then in Yuba City).

Left in 1991 though. Place changed any since then?

Like you don't even know! You probably wouldn't recognize much of it. I moved here after growing up in Buffalo, NY and after 4 years in the Army. I love it here. SOOOOO much development since I got here in '01! It's insane. I think the mean price for a home is over $300 G's now.

PM me if you wanna know anything specific.

While not the best sonically, my current setup addresses my needs: space, removability, looks(for shows), and I can feel it thump. I'll see if I can find the thread on my install. It was my first(and only) attempt at fiberglassing.

That's pretty smooth! I'd love to see your write up, post it when you get the chance!
