Got my system finished. Alpine 7864 HU, Alpine S634 CD changer under the driver seat, Infinity Kappa components, Soundstream Van Gogh 400.2 in the spare tire well, Alphasonik amp, cap, 10" Alphasonik sub and sub box in tool well made by Darkknight (check out his groupbuy) and Dynamat in trunk, doors and cabin. System sounds great.

Is that a custom case? Looks acrylic. It also looks like its lit. How about some more details on that piece??? Can you take out the nano for updating????

It is acrylic, although it is not custom, nor lighted.

For testing, I just slipped it under the elastic strap, in the picture it's really just sitting there. I have some clear plastic velcro that I am going to use to hold it in place.

Here is the link for the case:

It is removable to get the iPod out, but it's a bit of a pain. I can reach every control except the hold button. I can plug in headphones or my sync cable if I wanted to pull the iPod out and use it as Apple intended.

I just got the car home from the local stereo shop (Stereo in Dash) and they did a great job! We ended up installing a sub in a custom box where the spare tire used to fit which you will see it in the pictures below. My idea in doing this was to get the sub as close to the passenger cabin as possible while still leaving as much space as possible.
Like most projects this plan started small with an amp, then I added a sub and when the new amp and sub were installed it soon became obvious that the stock components were also in need of a major upgrade. Here is a list of the major items that were installed as part of this upgrade:
Memphis Belle 5 channel amplifier (75*4 rms, 600*1 rms)
Memphis M-Class 10

tom9933 - What sub are you using? That is one of the stealthiest installs for a sub I have seen. I am assuming its an 8" sub?
