well, after 2 years of owning the S my wife has helped me invest into a new sound system. i think its mainly because she wants to plug in her iphone but im not complaining. just installed the alpine headunit recently and already can tell a difference. have the speakers on order and need to get some dynamat for the install. will need to source a good amp i suppose to power the speakers properly. im open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Anyone have any reviews on the Sony DSX-S200X? Would Modifry's harness work with it? Thanks

S2k danny: where did you get that usb cord from? Can you still close the door with out any problems? I just got a new H.U and I want to find a Aux cord that I can run in the front of the hu and have it coming out from the passenger footwell. The aux cord that I have won't work due to the way its made I can't close the radio door, anyone have any ideas what I can do ?

hey wondering if you guys can tell me a good cheap stereo with usb iPod connection and bluetooth for calls, or if its not even worth getting bluetooth cause the mics are just poor quality. also, having no electrical experience do you think this is something i should undertake myself, and what are the necessary adapters or wires i might need, i'd like to try it myself but if its too difficult perhaps i can bring it to a shop. thanks

these are the two i was looking at if i didn't want one with bluetooth

Will just any regular tweeter fit in the stock headrest roll bars? Looking to upgrade all 4 speakers, the salesman told me it has focal speaker upgrades but I'm sure all the speakers haven't been upgraded. So id like a lot a lot more sound pumping out of it, I.might as well do the tweets in the doors as well a 10 on the passenger floor will come shortly as well

Hello folks, just a quick question.
How do subs sound when in the trunk with top up or down.
I have yet to make any system mods yet.
I was considering placing a 10" Rockford Fosgate shallow with shallow sealed box behind my seat, running 300w RMS @2ohm.
or put my Kicker cvx 12" in a one cubic foot internal volume sealed box with 600w RMS @1ohm.
Which would be more pleasing to the ears?
As well as best inexpensive way to reduce trunk rattle.
I am not looking for outrageous bass as I did in my teenage years, just enough bass to where i am proud to be heard, and enjoy the music still.
Thank you to any one whom responds.
