Check the secret compartment for the owner's manual. That's where mine was along with the radio code and other paperwork when I bought my '06 in '14. You can download a PDF copy of the manual from Here. See the link above for how to get the radio code. It will be vital is you ever reinstall the radio or want to sell it.

HI ,,what worked for me was to use a large zip tie bent to go thru the vent and make a pull handle so you don't pry on vent bezel
not a lot of pressure is need to remove bezel then un screw and remove when you reinstall bezel take care to line up clips
super easy .

My (old and corroded) spring clips around the shift knob won't come out if I pull by hand. A nylon pry bar lets me apply force directly next to the clip so it comes out cleanly.

Nothing anywhere in the car or trunk, someone must have removed them then I guess.

Hi - sure this isn't the best thread for posting but I have just bought an 2009 AP2 without a radio. I have sourced a stock radio, but when installed the dash remote controls don't work and the only way the radio plays is if I "MUTE" on the dash controls ? Any suggestions greatly appreciated ?

My guess, missing radio means an aftermarket radio was installed, and removed for sale. Whoever installed aftermarket messed with wiring.

Likely they installed an aftermarket box to allow aftermarket radio to work with dash controls, and this isn't compatible with stock radio. Find aftermarket box and remove.

HI thanks - I assume by box you mean wiring to fit his radio. However I saw previous owner remove radio & specific wiring, so I am left with standard 20pin Honda connector ?

Box = steering wheel controls adapter. In our case the controls are on dash, but same concept.

Is there something unique about the 2007+ AP2 radio panel with the passenger airbag status light, that makes removal different? I've been yanking on it hard enough that I'm scared I'm about to destroy it or that it's going to end to crashing against the shifter when it releases, but it feels like something stronger than a clip is holding it in place.

No trick. But they can be so tight that plastic studs break. Just gotta pull door at base, one side slightly more than other.

Cable for airbag light has enough slack that once free, can reach around unplug.
