side marker rewiring
Have not looked at them in a while - thinking they are just on solid now when the head lights are on? Correct me if I am wrong.
Assuming I am correct you could tap into the turn signal on each side. Use that 12 volt signal to trigger a relay. Wire the side marker lights to the normally closed contact - whenever the turn signal lamp blinks on the side marker would go off.

^This is the easiest way to do it. Re-wire the signals so they are powered via the headlight circuit but feed them through a relay that is powered by the original side signal wires. Then when the turn signals flash the side signals will flash too (but opposite of course).
