If there isn't a slide out screen that interferes with the shifter or bumps into the dash above the slot for the head unit you should be fine. A head unit install is a head unit install if it's single DIN and fits the factory location. There are existing HU install threads you can refer to.

1st - you will break the screen if you shift hard...
2nd - you will lose your radio door cover
3rd - looking at the date that you registered... i'm guessing you just got an S... Congrats and be smart.

i believe they do make a single din deck with a gps on side. next closest would be handheld garmin gps with modifry dash kit.

The N1 does not have enough clearance when it motorizes out from the unit to clear the shift knob in neutral and when it flips up, it doesn't slide out far enough to clear the lower right part of the dash bezel area

I spent a LOT of time looking for one to modify to fit, and I couldn't

So I installed a double-Din!

I didn't like the look and having to look down at the screen so I opted with an aftermaket head unit and this for Nav

It does everything I wanted (Video, Memory card playback, Nav, Bluetooth, etc) and integrated it into the axillary input on the head unit to make everything fairly seamless

Do you have any photos of that unit in action? (i.e. installed and opened?)
