Default solution to all the s2000 theft problems?

I am looking for a way to make my s2000 un-stealable. I came across this. It is not THAT expensive. You think it would work?

That won't stop someone from towing it in the middle of the night...

Furthermore not many S's actually get stolen, they get broken into and raided.

usually they just cut the top and take the seats / whatever interior parts are an easy grab. make 1000 bucks in less than 5 minutes

the best thing to get for an s2000 would be a hardtop (if you dont garage it) or atleast some seatlocks. and a standard alarm with a killswitch

like the guy said. if they want your car they can just tow it. doesnt matter what fancy gizmo you put in it

HT doesn't do a thing unless you secure it down as well. Even then, windows are easy to smash. Maybe thieves are hesitant in your area but they'll smash a window for far less around here.

You can't make any car un-stealable. You can only deter.

Yup (refer to the stolen seat threads). Get some seat locks.

I haven't seen it recently, but I remember seeing a video of a theft prevention device available in Eastern Europe as a result of an extremely high rate of luxury car thefts. It was a large, underseat flamethrower that was triggered by unauthorized attempts to start the car.

Obvious safety issues (you'd better hope your car "recognizes" you EVERY TIME) but undeniably effective and dramatic theft prevention - the thief/driver as well as most of the car was incinerated.

Maybe not such a good deal for the current owner, other than gleeful satisfaction at roasting the perp. Might discourage others in the future. But kinda hard on the car.

Even if towed, the person attempting to start/move the car would be at some significant risk. I suppose it would be even better if it had a webcam that would record and transmit the immolation.

You can just purposely strip the bolts or find some sorta torx/locking bolts for your seats.

You can take out your ECU for the night to prevent people from trying to drive off with it, but then again s2k's do have immoblizer's.
