Work? Yes.

Good idea? Not really. Your leaving your "keys" all over the place (finger prints). It has been shown time and again the Biometrics on laptops are not secure. I imagine this is just the same hardware, in a box, and some smarts behind it to turn a relay on or off.

Granted the average thief is going to tow the car, or steal whatever isn't bolted down (and the seats), and not steal the whole car.

My idea? I don't have one. I have looked at this device, and looked at other security devices, and come to the conclusion, nothing will stop someone from stealing my car if they want it.
