Default Some Audio Advice Please

Hello everyone ,

I have recently had an audio craze and I am planning to revamp the S. The Electronics forum has greatly helped me learn a thing or two about audio. I already ordered and recieved 1 roll of RAAMmat BXT (62.5 sq. ft.) and 5 yards of the ensolite foam (Rick from RAAMaudio is a really great guy, highly recommend him and his product ). I want to continue by purchasing the rest of the components. But I would like your guys opinion first.

Have-
-Apline HU (don't know model # from the top of my head) *have it already*

Want to Buy-
-(2 sets) Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Components *1 in each door, 1 in each s-pod*
-(1) JL Audio 10w3v3
-(1) *AmP*

I am very confused as to what amp to use. I don't know if to use 1 amp or a 2 amp set up. Although I really would prefer to use 1. I want to run at least 400-500 watts rms to the sub, and 100 watts rms to each of the speakers. What amp do you guys recommend? Also, if you guys have a different recommendation as to what sub to use, feel free to give me your opinions! I have a budget of $450 for the amp!

Thanks in advance guys!

Holy smokes! Your components are almost EXACTLY what I'm considering, though I haven't bought anything yet. Nice choices!

I'm a long-time Alpine fan and owner, despite their odd faces and button designs. I'm thinking Alpine CDA-9887 but the whole Imprint equalizer thing has me wondering if it'll be worth it, and whether to ask for it as an install service or buy it at 3-4x that cost.

I'm wondering if using the HU to power the OEM rears for just a little fill is worth trying? Or if I should just ignore the rears or replace them?

The EJ's here will have better input but after I looked at five channel amps I am thinking to go with two amps instead (what's up with all the Class-D-only 5-channels?!).

On amps, I'm thinking about a JL Audio A4300 or Kenwood Excelon KAC-X40 (or similar) four channel for the Infinity KP's plus a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X10D for the sub (I haven't figured out the diff between that and the KAC-9104D yet).

To be honest, I would run lesser speakers in the S-Pods and run them off the radio power, so they don't kill your ears and then get a decent 4 channel to run the doors and sub.

high power through Kappas 6 inches from your head is a bit much.
