Default Speaker Baffles

I i have mb quart components in the door and i wanted to get speaker baffles from crutchfield. They offer the regular and short- anybody know what size I would need? Also I was planning on fiberglassing the outside to improve bass response. Will this eat thru the foam? Thanx in advance.

i got the lucid baffles. they are cut-to-fit. I used expansion foam to seal, not fiberglass. Never heard of fiberglassing speakers to a door panel

I was going to fiberglass the outside of the baffle, not the speakers.

I have the regular ones, which I think are a little too deep, but haven't tried the shallow ones.

I'm using a set of Nakamichi SP-C652 coaxs w/ the Lucid mounting rings in place of the stock basket.
I'm only using the baffle for rain protection, but it definitely would contact the window assembly if I hadn't cut it back.
