how hard is it to instal these?

I hear its pretty simple just cut and put them in and theres a harnes that you can get to wire them easily???


anyone know anythign about this?

Saw some guy selling a set already mounted and harnesed in the FS forum but the sold already....


and the speakers behind it should I go with componets or just some basic mids or whatever??/

has anyone mounted a set of 6.5" mids into this space?

if so what was the mounting depth of the speakers.

i can't seem to get either my focal or cdt comps to fit in that space, without excessive cutting.

 

Very very few speaker 6.5 are shallow enough to fit behind the seats. I have 5.5's and even with those I had to trim a little metal behind the panels.

 

I used Infinity refrence 6.5s in the rear. They are the shallow ones with a depth of about 2''.

 

yah i need 3.5" mounting depth minimum for my 6.5" comps... so that's a no go.

im trying to see if i can shoehorn my cdt's back there.

i already have bass shakers back there. morels and focals up front.

we'll see..
