okay my setup:

stock speakers and tweeters
aftermarket HU
amp and sub

the stock speakers are connected to the stock wiring,NOT TO THE AMP.
the amp is connected to the HU via the remote wire.
and of course the sub to the amp.

Dilemma:

the HU turns on and plays music, cd, ipod, radio. but the speakers nor the sub are producing any sounds, and the amp is on and working.
i checked the fuses, on the amp, on the HU, and under the dash, they are all good.

so now i replaced the aftermarket HU with the stock HU and still, no sound is coming out of the speakers.

my system was working fine before this happed. no cracking sound, just NO SOUND AT ALL....


if anyone can help me fix this i appreciate it

I assume you tried toggling the mute switch. It can get "reversed" in its operation if you use a DCI.

 

i dont use the dci...it wasnt even plugged into my aftermarket HU...

anyone else think they know what happened?
