Spotify in s2000 while retaining dash controls
Hey!
I just got my 1st s2000, bone stock berlina black 2001 (except for angel eye headlights). I would like to be able to listen to music from my android phone (spotify) while retaining my steering wheel/dash controls. I don't really care if it's done through aux or bluetooth, but i want to keep the original radio because most modern radios look out of place in an s2000 with all their lights and leds. All the dongles/kits i found online are not compatible with spotify. Does anyone know of a setup that is compatible with spotify?
Thanks!

The best thing I did was to get rid of the stock radio and change it with an aftermarket headunit and color matched the radio to the amber bulbs in the car. I use Spotify too. I had the stock radio for 5 years and should have changed it out 5 years sooner. Also the Modifry plug and play harness with dci was easy to use and install.

What head unit do you have now?
Pioneer makes some cheaper units that have colors that blend in well with the factory system. I have the DEH-X8700BS in mine and have it set up to match the orange pretty well. I also do not care much about the sound system in my S2k since I drive almost 100% with the top down. So keep that in mind too, but that unit with a decent amp should sound good.
I connect to it over BT and sometimes with USB if I want to charge the phone.
I use a Modifry adaptor for steering wheel controls. Would recommend that hands down. Awesome product for a good price.

Does it fit with no issues? I'm a bit concerned about not being able to close the radio door anymore if i change it

. But like I said, it could be modified a tad more to make it fit more perfectly.
