Default Srs steering wheel delete

Hey guys. I know it has been talked about loads before I get shot down. When I search there a people that have posted links to the answer but when I click the link it says it's not there anymore.

I have a momo corsica I'm fitting onto a nrg quick release and need an srs delete, my car is a 2003. Is there a plug and play delete I can get? Or does anyone know where pics are to put the correct resistors?

Your help would be much appreciated

First off, be careful which NRG hub you get. Some hubs will not allow you to keep the clock reel. The clock reel is an assembly under the steering wheel that carries the wires for your horn, cruise control, and the airbag. Obviously you won't be able to use the cruise buttons if you change the wheel but the horn is nice to have.

As long as you get a hub that allows you to keep the clock reel, there is a yellow plug meant for the air bag on the wheel.. This is where you will install the resistor. There's only two wires for the yellow plug and a resistor has 2 leads. So you simply plug the leads in to make a "u turn" and tape it down well. You will need a 2.2ohm resistor. It's alot simpler than it sounds, good luck.

Cheers mate. What should the wattage be of the 2.2 ohm resistor?

Thanks. Dan

There is some conflicting information but it appears a 2 watt should do the trick. Make sure you get a 2.2 ohm and not a 2.2k ohm
