Default stacker is jammed, what to do?

ok, my stock stacker in the hidden compartment has been playing up lately and now it is jammed, a cd is stuck there and i cannot eject it.
i then tried to take the unit out, and it is like a ship in the bottle type puzzle, too big for the space. i cant work out how to remove it without busting something.
its probably rooted, but i got a backup replacement somewhere

Check all the fuses for power.

There is usually a manual eject procedure (for issues like this) Look for a small hole to the side of the cd opening. Poking this indent with a paper clip while pressing the eject sometimes works.

By stacker I guess you mean CD changer? And you have it installed in the secert compartment? and you can't get it out to replace it?

Well I'm not sure how they mounted it... but whoever mounted it, did it 2 ways.
1. They removed all the plastic and mounted the changer then reinstalled all the plastic.
2. They did it by reaching in through the truck.

I would look in through the trunk and check that first otherwise you'll most likely have to remove the plastic I guess to replace it.

The stock changer is normally mounted in the trunk on the left side shelf.
Since it's a multi-CD changer, how do you know it's just one CD that is stuck? How do you know that it isn't the whole cartridge that is stuck? Did you ever confirm that the changer has power going to it? If you blew a fuse and have no power going to it, nothing will happen when you try to eject a CD or a cartridge.
Have you tried to eject the cartridge as a whole?

it is a 01 s2k, hence, it has the stacker mounted in the secret compartment. the 99 and 00 had it in the boot.
i dont know how many cds r stuck, all i know is that the cd stacker was playing up before as it was giving wrong disc #s on the headunit display, eg. it would say disc 4 when i knew it was disc 5.
i dunno if it blew a fuse, but i still got the radio
im trying to eject the cartridge, the button pushing achieves nothing

Are you sure? Maybe it's different for your country, but no year of S2000 in N. America came with the CD changer mounted in the secret compartment. Owners had to custom fit aftermarket changers in there on purpose.
Did you get this from the dealer like that when the car was brand new? You should check about this in your local forum. You may have a "unique" placement.
