Thumbs up stereo upgrade

Im looking to get an amp , some new speakers (maybe a small sub for the trunk) and the ipod connection set up in my s2k. Are any afterkmarket receivers compatible with our controls on the left side of the dash? Also I have a 06 s2k so I have the speakers in th headrest, any suggestions (if any) for upgrading speakers for that?

Does anyone have any pointers on what to go with and what set ups you may have currently? Any help would be appreciated. Im up for suggestions and some help to be pointed in the right direction, you guys have helped me so much thus far.....

thanks in advance

None of use have found anything to replace the stock 06 rear speakers yet..

I just put a Alpine CDA-9857, Alpine Type-S components (Front) and a crappy Infinity Basslink X in my 06. Sounds far better than stock and provides a little bass (which is all I wanted in this car).

Well your going to need a DCI http://marketplace.s2ki.com/s2ki/product.p...uctid=185&cat=6
to make the Left side things work.

I have Type R 6.5's in the door that are amped. witch are awesome.
