For those who changed out the stock head unit and replaced it with an aftermarket deck did you use a wire harness? When i get mine i don't want to have to cut the stock adapter.
Thanks

Of course. If you don't get the wiring harness, at the time you decide to go back to the stock stereo, you'll spend more money on the install of the stock head unit than the money you saved from not buying the harness at first. The installer have to cut everywire and connect it back to the stock harness. I strongly recommand you get the wiring harness.

Yes Yes GOD YES get the wiring harness(sorry that sounded like a PORNO to start with. Acutally at my shop if we do a amp off a stock head we match up 2 plugs....one to the car one to the stock radio so we dont cut anything. Then when they come back for a new radio cuz the stock one sux we just unplug everything cut the aftermarket harness and match it up to the new radio and take back the stock harness.(wild idea my installer came up with!)

Details of the adapter at:

You can buy it from Honda. The info I've posted applies to UK cars but Honda USA must have a similar part (if not the same).
