I just got my s2000 a month ago and I'm starting lots of research on upgrading my audio system. Thanks to everyone for all the great info out there! So my original question is about the stock CD changer but I'm going to throw a couple more things out too.

Will the stock CD changer work with aftermarket head units?

Can the IR eye be hidden well enough on DCI's to not look bad.

Not sure about the stock changer and aftermarket headunit. But I can tell you that the DCI works beautiful. It's worth every peny. I'm very happy with it, it gives additional features that the stock headunit controls do not give you. It's a must if you are going to change headunit.
