Stock Radio stays on after ignition off? HELP !
finally got some nice weather up here in Cleveland....nice and early this year its only 4/16
Took the S2K out for the first spin of the year... when I shut it off the Radio and hardwired V1 both stayed on after the ignition was off.. What is going on here???
I'm not very electronically inclined so any help would be greatly appreciated....Thank You !

when you say "ignition off" do you mean even with key totally removed?
here are two possibilities - a failing ignition switch, or more likely a stuck
relay. If the switch, I imagine that everything that normally goes off when
you turn off the car would stay on. If a relay, only the things on that
circuit. I know the radio and accessory socket are on the same relay, but
am not sure where your V1 is hardwired from (and even if you told me I'm
not sure I'd know if was on the same circuit unless you knew it was on the
same fuse).
In any event, I'd try turning the car on/off a few times and if that doesn't
work try a nice drive.

Here's something I noticed:
I had a 300w inverter plugged in to my power outlet and when I would shut off the car the radio would remain on. I suspect there are some capacitors in the inverter that were actually powering that circuit once the feed from the alternator and car battery was removed. Hence, the radio stayed on (for about 10 or 15 seconds.
