Default Sub Box

Im looking into a system in the S2000 and they said it would cost them 400 dollars to build a custom box for the S in the same area this one is. Is there anyway to build this or buy this for cheaper?

i built, well building its almost done, almost the exact same thing. It for a 10" sub so its not as big but im putting a top board on the actual box to fill the space, then carpeting it with a grill on the top board. If that makes any sense, ill try posting pics when im done but so far, Wood, glue, silicone, screws $41 from home depot. Carpet was another 15... which i got from home depot, and the carpet i got is surprisigly really close, but ill get pics up. It can be done cheaper if you do it yourself cuase your not paying labor for a shop to do it.

For that price, you might as well go with a JL stealthbox. I think it's like $600, but it comes with the sub and sounds good, from what I hear. Also, Lucid sells a box for that location that's pretty cheap, but I think the subs that will fit in it are pretty limited...

Might want to pick up some materials and try it out on your own. Fiberglass isn't too hard to work with. Just time consuming and messy...

You can always try another shop too...

This was my setup last year. It made from fiber glass and wrapped in vinyl to match the blue leather
interior.
