Classic answer

But really, a nice 10 will bang the crap out of an s2000..... 2 of them wont sound good, as the s2000 sheetmetal is thin, and will rattle like crazy. I would get a powerful single 10" but hey........

I agree with Dave. I have (1) Alpine Type-R 10" and it hits very nice. I have the newer Type-R now but this is the best picture I have at the moment

This is the box I have it in:

I have one of the newer Alpine R's in a small enclosure (0.38 ft^3) and it sounds great.

I just wanted to add that you shouldn't let the fiberglass intimidate you. Honestly, given the size constraints in the S, i think fiberglass is a lot easier to work with than MDF. I'm pretty much an audio noob and i've managed to do two different boxes for my S w/o much problem. Just take a look at the thread DK mentioned. It's not that hard.

Also just fyi, i've got two 10" momo's in a sealed fiberglass box and for my tastes it's perfect. Very punchy and not at all boomy.

I had originaly planned on haveing one 10 but a good deal came on 2 so I got them. I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with MA audio, but they looked good. Nice construction good solid speaker. I bought 2 of their competion speakers the XL 1000 series. THey have 500rms watts with 1000peak watts. I have a Kenwood amp that puts out 500watts RMS x2 bridged and 1000x 1.

I also have Infinity reference 6000cs in the front with a sony amp small one. 80watts x 2 at 4 ohms.

What do you guys think about that set up will it be too loud? Any suggestions on a set up?
