I just wanted to add that you shouldn't let the fiberglass intimidate you. Honestly, given the size constraints in the S, i think fiberglass is a lot easier to work with than MDF. I'm pretty much an audio noob and i've managed to do two different boxes for my S w/o much problem. Just take a look at the thread DK mentioned. It's not that hard.
Of course I made a huge mess and a lot of mistakes...
The main thing is to have a work area that you can mess up, stink up with fumes, etc. Then, make sure you read and plan far enough ahead that you don't make any irreversible mistakes.
If you don't have such a work area then yeah, you might want to avoid fiberglass.
