Default Which sub for WLaurent enclosure?

I am trying to install a sub enclosure in my trunk, but am having problems finding one made for our trunk. I've been thinking about one of Lucid's sub enclosures (lucidauto.com), but I'm wondering if the bottom corners are rounded or square, and if they are square, will they rub holes in the base of the trunk wheel well?

I was hoping someone out there might have some experience with these, or maybe even be able to suggest something else. I don't want to spend a lot having to have a box custom built, but I'm not sure what else my options are. Won't that cost a lot?

Any help you can offer is great.

Thanks!!

Just build one. I just finished mine and it cost me like $50. Other wise your looking at some expense just in a box.

JL audio sells them to but they are like $599

Unfortunately, building one for me would be pretty hard, as I don't even have the tools needed to do a decent, quality job. I was hoping to just find one made for a decent price.

I understand. But, for that reason alone is why they charge an arm and a leg for these boxes.

Did you try JL Audio?

Best to my knowledge you have three options, and they have all been pointed out already:

1) JL audio,
2) WLaurent's wheel-well sub box, or
3) DIY

Ask me, if you can live with either a 10" or 8" sub, the WLaurent option is the most cost effective. Heck you can even order one soon with a great sub already built in for half the cost of the JL Audio box.

Cathan,

Where would you recommend getting a WLaurent sub box from? Are there multiple or is there only 1?

Thanks.

I have a JL Stealth Box. I love it. I have plenty of pictures in this thread.. check it out if you want..

It is a little pricey, but well worth it IMO.
