Which sub for WLaurent enclosure?

Well, this weekend I decided on getting a WLaurent enclosure. Made the purchase for a passenger side box. Now I just need to decide on a decent, low cost speaker that will fit inside there. I assume William is going to just cut a standard hole for an 8" sub. So it would have to fit in that. Any ideas are welcome.

Ok, now I really need help. William is asking me which specific speaker I am getting and I have not idea. I thought the whole was pretty much standard, and I could just shop later, but I guess they are all different sizes now. Does anyone have any good, cost effective suggestions? I was thinking about going with the 10" Elemental Designs option, but I'm worried about there not being enough volume and it sounding too boomy.

Only a few people have heard what the EB sub sounds like in this box, but they are very trusted members of these forums. Heck. They basically run the joint!!
That being said, if you need immediate gratification, a number of folks have gone with an Alphasonic 8 inch sub that does very well. IIRC that sub runs around $130.
If you poke around these boards a bit more, you'll find a thread with a bunch of the testing info on the new EB sub that William is putting a deal together for. It's the route I'm planning on taking in large part because I have faith in those that are testing the thing. But I can be patient as the weather sucks right now and therefore won't be installing the new system until it warms up.
