Did that factory subwoofer ever come out for the S, and if so anybody with any feedback? Thanx for any info.

 

No, it didn't, but there are several other choices.

 

I am "planning" on puting a Kicker 02RMB8 (<--- model #) in the passenger side
footwell. I think the JL Stealthbox is a very nice piece, but I don't want to take out the stuff needed to change a flat. I am not sure how well it will sound, but I plan on running it with a Punch 500. My friend owns a car stereo shop and works wonders with glass. I am thinking of letting him have the car for a week so he can mold a box to see (actually hear) how it sounds. He has a mold for an NSX that holds a 10" sub, but the Kicker requires 1/2 the airspace. When we do this, and if it sounds good, I am sure he will make a mold and sell them. I will keep everyone posted.

 

People with Stealthboxes have wrapped up the tools in old towels/rags and put them inside the spare tire.
