I really love the idea of putting sub on top of center console. It may accept 8" shallow free air sub and provide nice base at cost of secret box.
Now question, this "box" plays quite a significant role supporting plastic panels, bunch of screws that seem essential are meant to screw in it. How can it be removed? Shall i fabricate some bracket instead to mount panels on? Or maybe somehow cut it so sub fits and mounting threads still somehow retained?
Also will Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 be good in there and what would be some nice compact amp to feed it?
