Got a call from my dad this morning. he said he went to the honda dealership in houston and saw a yellow s2000 that was turned into a "racecar" as he would put it. Said it was all hooked up and what not. In the trunk there is a sub and amp setup with lights that he said looked pretty cool, but a bit ridiculous for his tastes.

Anyways, he said in t he center console, the door was removed and a large horizontal speakers was placed in it. I was wondering if anyone else has done this mod or had any pics.

If anyone has pics of the car im describing, id like to check those out too please.

I've seen photos of a sub built into the center console but it replaced the glove box and secret compartment and fired forward I believe.

well many aftermarket companies make single din center channel speakers (ie alpine,clarion)

I think your a little confused we're talking about putting speaker between the seats in place of the glove box and secret compartment.

Yea I've seen pics of the install on this forum, maybe not the one specified, but the sub where it replaced the center console. So I concur that it does, in fact, exist. Haha...

DDuds2k - Just look through the gallery at the top of this forum. There was someone who put a set of 5.25's in the top of the secret compartment, and another guy who put a sub in firing back over the tool well. Just check, they are there.
