Default switched Power

hey all i have a comptech ctsc and an aem 19 in one gauge (and the ems to go with it)

heres my problem..

the electric water pump for the aftercooler plugs directly in to the switched power male ended prong along the left side of the fusebox.
the gauge needs to be switched as well.

can i run them both into the same prong and if so...
should i run a inline fuse to either the gauge or the pump?
Do i need to do this? or can i just splice them together and plug in?
or do i need to go and run a relay off the battery?

thanks all in advance if you have any other ideas great!

They really should be fused and relayed for safety and longivity of the gauges.
