Default Template needed for installing rear speakers

I would like to install rear speakers in the trim panels behind my seats. I'm thinking something along the lines of the "Lucid" setup. My questions is...Does anyone have a template for cutting a speaker hole in the rear panel? I really don't want to start hacking and find out I'm not in the right location. Or worse yet, cut the hole to big. Does anyone have a template I could use to help me locate the correct spot to cut?

Also, what size speaker would be the best fit for this location...4"???

Thanks,
Dennis

I'm guessing lack of response indicates that a template doesn't exist

To all the guys who have installed rear speakers, did you just guess where to cut your hole or just opt for the Lucid system?

Thanks darknight1999!

That gives me a very good idea of where I need to start. I like your component idea. How does/(did) it sound?

Thanks again,
Dennis

It sounds great Dennis!! But it will also depend on the speakers you get the power you have going to them

You asked what speakers would we recommend...Well the only way we can help steer you in the right direction is know what kind of sound you like. Do you like a lot of mid bass? or flat even sound? or a lot of highs? When you set up an OEM radio do you turn the bass and treble all the way up or in the middle or down?

Once you give me that info, others and myself can tell you what speakers to go listen to. But keep in mind the best way to find out what speakers you like is to listen to them in a shop with the kind of music you like playing on them. Most of the time if you tell us what type of music you listen to and how you listen to it, we can give you a pretty good idea of what you will most likely like.

It depends on the brand you use. My Alpines you see in that picture are 5 1/4 Alpine SPX-137a's.

How do those alpines compare to the infinity kappa perfects that I am running?? By the looks of your trunk lid I assume you are running them up front too??
