Tweeter Install.
I've been searching and reading the electronics forums for a while, but I havent seen a person install the tweeters right next to the 6.5" speakers. The cutout on the door is oval-shaped,so I'm sure a tweeter can easily be placed right next to the speaker. I have a 01, so the door panel doesnt come with tweeter mounts
. Any ideas what I should do?
Also, I havent searched for this, but if I want a small bump in bass, say a 8" sub, what type should I go with? I've installed subs, speakers, amps, whatever, in my cars before, but I'm not knowledgeable about crossovers, bridges, etc. Would a bazooka tube (easy install...) work decently?

im mounting the tweeters in my 01 in the a-pillars. ive got them velcro'd in place right now, as im waiting on my replacement a pillars to come in. i bugered up the first one i tried. im going to mount them with the middle of the tweeter even with the top of the vent that blows on the window, and they will be facing towards the middle of the car, but pointed down a bit. the way they are mounted now, i think they sound great. everything is crisp and clear, but not overly bright or harsh.
