Tweeter noise

Default Tweeter noise

me and my freind install the system abt 2 years ago...
and recently this start to annoying the s#$%t of me..

spec: alpine 7996 head unit
speaker: dimaond audio m6

when i start the car, and turn on the head unit
then...u hear this high pitch electronic noise coming out from the tweeter...
its really not that loud that really bothers me....but, its there and u know it.

and when i stomp on the gas pedal....the nosie go louder( if i turn down the music).
the nosie is there along...and will not go up or down with the valume adjustment.

so..can any one tell me....whats the problem here...
i need to get ride of this nosie

and by the way..i am not too smart in term of electronic....

sounds like a grounding problem.

but, do u think which grounding...

the amp or head unit

Sounds like a grounding problem to me too Jay. Anyone would be guessing if they told you a location. I would start at the easiest location to access and move on from there.

Either grounding or RCAs....

RCAs do go "bad", but its probably the ground. Its not the head (probably) because its in a harness and thats the way it always was. The amp ground might have come loose, or whatever, so move it, and see what happens. If not, it may very well be the RCAs. (Ive had RCAs go bad)
