iphone mount on cupholder door

Very slick integration on the S2000. The iPhone is nicely secured (flush mount almost) to the cupholder door. Japanese dude who posted this in youtube. Sent off a message asking him how he did it. Luckily enough I have Japanese colleagues who speak/write the lingo.

Has anyone tried this on their own car?

This thread is like 5 posts down. Very similar design to this one. I like this look a lot in both AP1s and AP2s.
