unlocking passenger door from inside?
using the keyless entry was what I did until I discovered (more or less by accident) that you could just unlock your door and the pass door would follow.
And, it doesn't do it all the time. Seems like you have to get in and lock both doors with the fob and then when you flick the drivers lock manually the passengers door mirror's it......
Who knows, it could be that something is faulty and or the ecu is about to puke.
When the "computer" in my Beretta died
it developed all kinds of unique electrical
"features" a couple of months before the ecu died.

any chance of a lock/unlock switch that will unlock the passenger door and lock both doors. using existing wiring in the door.
I am doing a f22c swap rwd in my civic. while im waiting for parts from the machine shop for fabricating the crossmember, I do some wiring. Right now im stuck on the door wiring. I would like to use my lock/ unlock switch that is factory in the civic inside door handle. So far with the s2 door wiring in the civic door i can only get the door to lock. I did notice when i bought my s2 this anoying problem of no electronic control of the door locks from inside the car.
Im guessing im probably going to have to put the s2 door lock actuators in my civic doors, i will be trying that tomorrow. Then wiring the drivers key cylinder switch to the civic unlock momentary switch. then splicing the civic lock momentary switch to the s2 door lock actuator switch wire.
don't flame because this is the last thing i have to wire on the civic with the full s2 wiring harness in a 2000 civic EX.

Im just going to pin the keyless entry unit and route the wires to the door harness and wire them to the civic lock/ unlock switch. this way i will be able to control both doors from inside the car electronically.
really dumb honda did this on the s2.
