Just been browsing this forum for a bit and am trying to decide which deck to get.. it seems like alot of people are happy with the new apline. .but does it allow you to use the controls on the left? I read there are some modes or something that works that can be bought in the UK? Are there US mods yet?

now speakers.. whats good for the door speakers that give the over all best sound.. the stock ones just suck..

See my webpage...any questions that doesn't answer, you can ask again. I'm happy with the Sonys, but everyone has their preferences. You can use the PAC unit to control any stereo with IR. In the UK there's a cable that directly connects to the Alpine, but so far only one person (as far as I know) in the US has one of those cables...they seem to be hard to get and/or they don't work with all of the US Alpine models.
