Default USA SPEC iPod Interface Adapter

This interface lets you use the aux input of the factory radio (designed for cd-changer) for your iPod. It also lets you control the tracks via the factory radio. Does anyone have this installed in an AP1? Do the radio control buttons on the left side of the drivers wheel work with this?

Thanks!

Ok, I just saw another similar model that looks much better. It's made by Dice, anyone use either of the two and can provide some feedback?

I have the USA Spec in my 04 and it works great. My friend liked it so much he got one for his Accord.

All the factory radio controls work like normal as if you were playing a CD, which means all you can do on the left of the wheel is volume, mute, and change mode, lol

Thanks for the info! I am actually looking at another model now made by Dice (i-Honda-R2). It looks like it does the same thing, but the Dice module is much smaller.

Becareful which model you buy if you buy the USA Spec ones.

For 2004 and up, You need the PA11-HON2y.

For 2000 to 2003 you can use the PA11-HON.

I bought the PA11-HON, the wrong one for my year! If you're interested please PM and I'll pass it on to you for a good deal.

Let me know.

Thanks
David

I've got one.

You can skip tracks just like the OEM CD player with it.

If you want to play a certain playlist, go to the playlist 1st them plug it in to the interface cable.

Where did you guys mount the brains (white box)? It looks way to big to fit behind the factory head unit.

Thanks
