vafc II

Default vafc II

ite i just put in my vafc II. all i have under the hood right now is a CAI. should i just leave the settings alone untill i get more stuff or change a few things? and if i should change anything what should it be..

You shouldn't do anything with it until you get your car to a dyno and get it properly tuned. In fact you should just unplug it until you get to the Dyno.

yeaa i did it myself i was gonna do it at school but when i got it i just was to excited.... but i used a Boomslang harness




...one more question i put it in and my check engine light came on... is that just because i unplug the wires and plugged some news one back in or is there something wrong.....and how do i turn it off

I would say you might have done something wrong ... did you try to reset it? (disconnect the negitive side of the battery for about 30seconds to a minute for the computer to reset)

If it comes back on then somethings not right. You really shouldn't have this plugged in until you get to the Dyno. Don't just use someone else's settings, because your engines are different. Not every engine is the exact same.

itee so i did the battery thing and the light went off and everything is fine but now my cd player is askin for some code...?? what is that

You need the radio code,.... check your manual it should have the code in the book.

yeaa i kno now..... i didnt have it in my code so i had to take the cd player out and get the serial number and call a honda place and get tthem to give me a code...which was a pain in the ass....but i finished finally and i took my vafc II off cause i geuss now im gonna wait until i get headers and exhaust and get it dynoed until i put it back on ....but everything is good now... but by the way anyone know a good place in VA or NC to get it dynoed...appreciate the help..
