vertical trunk amp mount

Default vertical trunk amp mount

anyone who has made a vertical amp mount going across the whole back wall of the trunk i need ur help.i am going to mount the 2 amps to it so i need the whole back wall dimension one. i jus want to make sure im getting the dimensions correct, they are 10.5 x 36i think ? how thick is the maximum it can be, and also how do i actually mount it to the back of the trunk?

I would use cardboard to make a template and then cust the board out to match it. Then just mount the amps right to it. You could use some small L brackets to hold it in place, maybe 1/2 board??

i have mine sort of like that...

A piece of daimond plate that was angle-bent at the top. It hangs (is screwed in) from the top.

Power wires have since been "hidden" and just pop out from the spare tire bulge and into the amp.

What kind of amps you are running? And are you going to surface mount like S2KinVA or would you like to flush mount like my setup?
