Default Viper 5901 - trunk open alarm on 1st arming

I recently got a Viper 5901 put into my S. When I arm the alarm and walk away, about 30s later it goes off. The remote says "Trunk Open". When I disarm/re-arm the alarm, everything is fine.

I plan to take it back to the installer tomorrow, but wanted to get some ideas from the experts on this forum. Is this faulty wiring or a bad trunk pin (possibly paint). Also read something about a relay being required for the trunk release. Could it be related to wiring of the relay?

Again, the trunk open alarm only happens on the the initial arming, and goes away after I disarm re-arm.

Thanks in advance!
Ken

Just to follow-up on this. The installer adjusted the delay on the tilt-sensor which taps in through the trunk. Credit this to usually tweaking of a new system.
