I'm getting ready to purchase a viper 5901 alarm system. According to viper i'm going to need the XK05 transponder, which has progamable firmware for hondas, to work with the car. I believe this, and my question is: If I buy everything new from a 3rd pary vendor, will I be able to program the XK05 to my car or is it something that is done directly threw viper. I've searched their site with no luck.

The XK05 can be programmed from a home computer. Give me a second to see if I can find the website to where you do it.
