I gotta admit the custom flushed screen is THE WAY TO GO if you want a monitor but only drawbacks are:
1) Cost of labor to build that dash kit
2) Cut dash thus permanent mod
As for the flip out screens, I don't see how you guys CANNOT SEE this! There is NO WAY to put one in a s2000!!!
Common sense says that if you mount the deck in the stock location, when the screen pops out, it will hit the dash not to mention you can't shift! C'mon, forget what anyone tells ya! Crutchfield is knowledgeable in some areas but anyone who tells me a flip out deck can fit in the s2000 is lying or just plain STUPID.
There is only one way to get a flip out deck to fit and here it is:
I've been doing research on this for a while now since I want a monitor and DVD player in the s2000 but only correct way I've seen so far is the dash cutting and fiberglassing one into the dash.
