Default weird dome light problem

Hey guys, I been trying to fix my dome light problem and I can't figure it out .

I was having problem with the led in my dome light so I started messing around to try to get it to work. I accidentally short circuit the dome lights by touching a piece of metal to the metal contacts of the right bulb. After I replaced the fuse, I notice when the light switch is in the "door position" and if i press the individual light button on the left side, both side of the dome light would come on. If I press it on the right side, only the right light would come on.. Strange

So, I short circuit the dome light this time on purpose hoping it'll fix the problem. Now when i press the individual button on either side, both of the light comes on.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this problem??
Thank you

My guess is you need to replace both diodes in the dome light.
