Default Weird passenger door lock

Hi,

Noticed a problem with my key fob yesterday. The remote will lock the driver's side door when you press the lock button, but not the passenger side.

The passenger side auto-lock is working, because when I put the key in the ignition it locks both driver and passenger side doors. But the key fob only locks the driver?

Very weird. Do I need to reprogram it or something?

It USED to have an aftermarket alarm but I think it was taken out.

But I'm using the factory key fob and alarm...

Should I have an alarm shop check it out?

Ok, bringing this back.

This may be a stupid ass question, but...my doors will auto lock about 20-30 seconds after closing them if I'm out of the car. Doesn't happen when in the car with key in. As far as I know, I don't have any aftermarket alarm, but there is a LoJack on the car. Is that what's doing it?

Seriously? Do you have Lojack? Does is do it if you are in the car, without the key in the ignition?

I don't have Lojack. It only does it when my key and I are both outside the S2K. I usually notice it when my doors are unlocked and I go to my truck to grab something and it locks automatically. My old 3G Eclipse use to do the same thing. I guess it's a security mechanism. I don't have my manual with me; the free online manual, from Honda Owner Link, SUCKS immensely!

Exactly! Fricken' locked me out one dark night when I got a flat tire on the freeway. Decided to change it myself. Left my key and phone on the dash and closed the door. Got locked out and had to walk a mile to the next exit and call AAA. I think it must use the seat sensor for the airbag to realize you are in the car....
