Ok, bringing this back.

This may be a stupid ass question, but...my doors will auto lock about 20-30 seconds after closing them if I'm out of the car. Doesn't happen when in the car with key in. As far as I know, I don't have any aftermarket alarm, but there is a LoJack on the car. Is that what's doing it?
My AP1 does the same thing. I believe its by default...
Seriously? Do you have Lojack? Does is do it if you are in the car, without the key in the ignition?

I don't have Lojack. It only does it when my key and I are both outside the S2K. I usually notice it when my doors are unlocked and I go to my truck to grab something and it locks automatically. My old 3G Eclipse use to do the same thing. I guess it's a security mechanism. I don't have my manual with me; the free online manual, from Honda Owner Link, SUCKS immensely!

Exactly! Fricken' locked me out one dark night when I got a flat tire on the freeway. Decided to change it myself. Left my key and phone on the dash and closed the door. Got locked out and had to walk a mile to the next exit and call AAA. I think it must use the seat sensor for the airbag to realize you are in the car....

Yup, you're probably right! I got locked out once, many moons ago, so I have a habit of leaving my door ajar or window half open if I even step away from the driver seat.

If its doing this its an aftermarket... look under the dash... good chance you'll find an after market alarm.

Nope. LoJack does not lock or unlock your doors.

Sounds like you have an OEM alarm that in a passive arming mode. You should be able to change that to manual mode on the OEM control module, which is mounted under the driver seat.

Ok, I've felt around under the seat several times. I'll check it again. Your pic shows exactly what my Electrical Troubleshooting Manual says as well.

This is where it "should" be if was installed properly. It could be on the floor instead of mounted to the seat.

A lot of the times when LoJack is installed in a car they also install an alarm system with it. Those alarm systems can ride along side the factory system so it will seem like its the factory setup, but infact its a secondary system working along side the factory setup. I worked for a car dealer years ago... and LoJack was more often than not installed with an aftermarket alarm because the insurance savings almost always covered its cost the first year, so most people would just have it done.
Get on your back with a flash light and look under the dash.

No kidding?! That would make sense for Lojack to do that. You don't think it would be in the same spot as the lojack system itself?

No, they always keep the location of the LoJack system a secret, but the alarm always went up under the dash. Most time those installs are fairly good, meaning they covered the new wiring and their tracks The guys that did the LoJack installs, at least at the dealership I worked at did good quality work. However if you look under the dash you might be able to see it. Most cases its a black box roughly 5"x3" give or take a little bit. A good installer puts it high up on the firewall.

Its worth the look. I could be wrong but I've seen this plenty of times. But like TPhong said it could be attributed to that alarm. But since you can't feel it that leads me to have you look under the dash.
