im in the market for a new CD player....possibly a cd changer as well. wanted to know what model/brands you guys are running out there. Im also looking to keep the stereo controls on the dash working (via: qubes or lucid). subwoofer and amp will be added at another time.....thanks in advanced for any info/comments.

I have the Alpine CDA-7894 with Lucid's Pac-SWIX and aftermarket harness. I am waiting for Lucid's new Alpine interface made by Modify. It should work just like the Sony. I can't wait.

 

if you want to keep the mfsw (with either qubes or lucids adaptors) then i think you're restricted to either alpine or sony so start there.

i have an Eclipse 5542, i don't have the dash controls hooked up yet....but my local shop will charge about $75 to hook up a sensor for the dash controls, only bad thing is that it will have a delay sometimes due to not being hardwired....
