Default Alpine HeadUnits Again

I'm going to upgrade the HU and have selected Alpine.

I'm not looking to spend a fortune, so am looking at the following three units (all of which take the dash control connector thingy). The units are:

CDM9823RR

I would get one of the MP3 head units as you can get *lots* of MP3's on a single CD.

So much so that I rarely use my CD changer.

Are you going to get the KCE adaptot for the dash controls?

Try out The 9812 i had one in my previous S, when i sold the car it the unit went in the missus' fiesta. Upon buying my current S she wouldn't let me have it back and i bought the 9835R. Very Nice!

You wouldn't be disappointed with the 9812.

IIRC there is some issue with being able to close the radio door with 9823/7's as the front layout is different to 9812/3/5 the newer 9831/3/5
