Default What happened to Lucid?

I tried emailed him twice but never received a response. Then I tried to PM him, but I got a message saying he doesn't accept PMs.
He's not making it very easy to order rear speakers!

That's my question too!! I also sent an email without response. I want to order some stuff but have outstanding questions. I'm assuming vacation.

Best bet is to PM Modifry he is the one that actualy designed the Sony DCI. I asked him about mine and he said that as long as the HU is designed to work with the wired remote, you will be good. Mine was and I just recieved the DCI today. Took me about an hour and a half of working very slowly and cautiously double checking everything to get it soldered up. However, the proof is in the pudding as they say, I have a couple of speaker wires to run, then I will be re-installing my HU, and I'll let you know how it goes.

I looked at your HU on Crutchfield and it does not list the wired remote as an option for your HU. If you look at the back of the HU and you see a jack for what looks like headphones, that is the wired remote adapter.

You might have to talk to DJqube. His solution is VERY slick, it's just a little more pricy.

Yea....I got the headunit in, but I don't have the side controls anymore . I'll probably go with DJ Qube's in the future, but for now I've not the $$$. I'll tell ya though, I've got myself a few times wondering why the volume wasn't going down from the side switch . Thanks for the replies!

Has anyone heard from Lucid? It's been about three weeks since this was posted. I know I never got a response? I will try again today.

It just seems odd. I was e-mailing him back and forth for a few days, and then nothing.
