I just sold my RSX and bought an '04 s2000. Drove it home yesterday. It's great.

On the left side under the radio controls (where my left knee is basically) there is a headphone jack looking cylinder that has the jack on one end and a button on the other end. There is a flat cable with probably 4-6 wires in it coming out the bottom. Also there is a red LED on it.

It looks aftermarket. Any idea what it is??

just a shot in the dark but if its a "headphone" jack and if you have a aftermarket stereo it could be used for the aux in part of your stereo.

it could be for the alarm system i have one that sounds exactally like that but with a blue led... thats just my guess
