Hey guys anyone have advice i build a custom box for my s2k for my 10 jl w7 the sub but it is so heavy the car lags big time.... i don't mind like 35 40 pounds in the trunk with a sub i can remove but the 3/4 mdf is so heavy. The sub pounds amazing base an sounds awsome though. anyone have a carbon fiber sub box?

 

You added a sub to your car and it lags? That's odd man. But if your worried about weight why did you buy that sub? Cause your right its a nice heavy one

You can build the box from light weight MDF or fiberglass. Although fiber glass will be the way to go really.
